ADA and Indigenous Design Labs

Australian Defence Apparel (ADA), in collaboration with Indigenous Design Labs (IDL) and partners at RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology), will be hosting a Co-Lab focused on apparel design and creation.

These workshops have been two years in development and are designed to equip participants with skills in apparel design and creation. The initial sessions will be delivered online as 1.5-hour introductory workshops, followed by two 4hr hands-on, in-person sessions at the Artview Café in Bayview Heights with staff from ADA and RMIT.

Workshops will take place starting next week.

Workshop 1: 6pm Tuesday 9 September (1.5hrs) – Online via Teams (link to be provided)

Workshop 2: 6pm Tuesday 16 September (1.5hrs) – Online via Teams (link to be provided)

Workshop 3: 10am Tuesday 30 September (4hrs) – Artview Gallery

Workshop 4: 10am Tuesday 1 October (4hrs) – Artview Gallery
